What is a good morning without a good breakfast?
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that is not coincidental, it opens up your eyes to the day and gives you the just the thing you need to waive through the busy task of the daily. Tasty, quick and rich in protein breakfast is scrambled eggs on a pan with cottage cheese It may also be called an omelette.
The scrambled eggs with cottage cheese is just the base recipe. You can upgrade your breakfast meal by adding cut tomato slices, spring onions or regular onions. You could also experiment with adding red bell peppers to the mix too.
Scrambled eggs with cottage cheese recipe
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 100 g cottage cheese
- 25 g butter
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Toss the butter into a the heated pan and wait until in melts.
- Break the eggs into a separate bowl and add the cottage cheese in small chunks. Whisk until its mostly homogeneous. Add the pinch of salt.
- Add to the pan and wait for 30 seconds for the omelette to fry on the bottom part.
- Start stirring and don‘t stop until its completely cooked.
Notes
- An omelette goes especially well with tomato juice with just a hint of parsley.
- Don‘t be cheap on the spices – add some mix of black pepper and salt, basil leaves work too, maybe even dried rosemary seeds.
